Grassroots Grants scheme

Thank-you to Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation for awarding a grant to our club.

The grant will be paid to the club over a 3 year period, and will allow us to provide new equipment and clothing plus contribute towards the increasing cost of training facilities. We've struggled to keep our heads above water for several years now, and this is really going to help.

Well done to our Fund Raising team for all their hard work!

Marston Value Middle School

The caretaker at Marston Vale Middle School where we train, has noticed some adults smoking outside the sports hall and has asked us to remind all parents/guardians of the government guidelines: this is an excerpt from the document entitled 'Smoking Policy for schools' published by the government:-

4.3

Where a designated smoking area is not currently available at the school it shall be at the discretion of the Board of Governors as to whether school resources may be deployed for the creation of such a facility. It is not a statutory duty that such a facility be provided.

Marston Vale Middle School is a NO SMOKING zone, even in the car park, so please make sure

if you must smoke, that you do it off-site.
