TWO Match Reports from Tayla Saffhill: Our first match which was against Grangers Tempest was a fantastic game and everybody in Storm played extremely well. However though we lost 11-0, we all passed well amongst ourselves but struggled to get the ball into the 'D' to shoot. A quarter of the way through Amy cut the top of her finger open thankfully though she played on and played very well. By the end of the match though we were all exhausted from all the running around!!!!!!! Well done Storm Team!
Our final match was a bit of a shock to us all as we were playing Westoning Thunder. We all thought this match was a bit more evenly matched as we only lost 5-0. We all played very well in this match and should be happy that we were extremely close to scoring a few goals. Two players that probably played the best in that match were Erin as she had some fantastic shots at the goal and Eleanor as she was great at dodging the people that she was being marked by. Though by the end of the game I think everybody was so tired as we had played two games back-to-back! Lets see if we can win the next one girls! |

The grant will be paid to the club over a 3 year period, and will allow us to provide new equipment and clothing plus contribute towards the increasing cost of training facilities. We've struggled to keep our heads above water for several years now, and this is really going to help. Well done to our Fund Raising team for all their hard work! |
